Site credit calculator: turn site credit into cash

Site credit is a sportsbook bonus that pays your winnings and the credit itself back in cash when the bet wins, so it is worth more than a bonus bet of the same size. Enter the credit, its odds and the odds on the other side: the calculator gives the hedge stake that leaves the same cash whoever wins, often 90% or more of the credit at short odds.

Odds format

Hedge stake$100.00

How to use the calculator

  1. 1

    Enter the site credit

The amount of credit and the odds you bet it at. Short odds close to even keep the most.

  2. 2

    Enter the hedge odds

The odds on the opposite outcome at another sportsbook, with its commission if it charges one.

  3. 3

    Place the hedge shown

Bet the stake shown with your own money: whoever wins, you keep the same cash.

Worked example

$100 of site credit on the Lakers at -110 (1.91). The Celtics are -110 at another sportsbook. Hedging $100.00 on the Celtics leaves $90.91 whoever wins: the credit pays $190.91 if the Lakers win, the hedge pays $90.91 of profit if the Celtics do. The $100 of credit became $90.91 of cash, a 91% conversion.

Frequently asked questions

What is site credit?

A sportsbook bonus you can only wager, but that pays back the stake with the winnings when the bet wins. A bonus bet pays the winnings only, which is why the same amount of site credit is worth more.

Site credit or bonus bet: how do I tell them apart?

Read the promotion's terms: stake returned or site credit means the stake comes back; bonus bet or free bet usually means it does not. The sportsbook's terms decide.

Which odds convert site credit best?

Short odds close to even, the opposite of a bonus bet: the stake comes back anyway, so the best result comes from the smallest gap between the two prices.

Does site credit have a playthrough?

Some site credit must be wagered more than once before the cash can be withdrawn. Hedge each round the same way, or use the playthrough calculator to price the whole requirement.

How do I find the best game for site credit?

NinjaBet's Bet Finder in Cash mode lists the pairs of prices closest to each other across licensed sportsbooks, which are the ones that keep the most of a site credit.
